Advocating for Women and Kids Equality in Murfreesboro, TN

The AAUW Murfreesboro is a nonpartisan organization that works to promote the advancement of women and youth in Tennessee. Our mission is to empower individuals to use their passions, ideas, experience and resources to improve the health, education, and financial stability of people in their local communities. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment for women and youth to come together and share their stories. We also collaborate with politicians from both sides of the aisle to ensure that our voices are heard.

Our organization is part of the Women United global affinity group, which brings together powerful women who are focused on making a positive impact in their communities. We are also part of the Advocates for Women's and Kids' Equality (AWAKE), a grassroots nonprofit organization that works to advocate for the advancement of women and youth in Tennessee. At AAUW Murfreesboro, we believe that everyone should have access to the same opportunities regardless of gender or age. We strive to create an equitable society where everyone can reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, we work with local organizations, schools, and businesses to provide resources and support for women and youth in our community. We also host events throughout the year to raise awareness about issues affecting women and youth in our community.

These events include workshops, seminars, and conferences that focus on topics such as financial literacy, career development, health education, and more. At AAUW Murfreesboro, we are committed to creating a better future for women and youth in our community.
